A Framework for Equitable Partnership

Pastor Peters Omoragbon, Executive President of Nurses Across the Borders (NABHI), and Mrs. Joan Enukorah, Group Head of Private Bank at Keystone Bank, came together on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at the Keystone Corporate Headquarters in Lagos, to formally sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that marks a new chapter in diaspora engagement. By this partnership, NABHI will facilitate the opportunities for the engagement of Keystone Bank with Nigerians in Diaspora organisations worldwide. As stated in the agreement itself:
WHEREAS the Parties intend this MOU to establish a framework for a balanced and equitable partnership, with specific terms to be agreed upon prior to the implementation of any major initiative.
This clause underscores the intentional, phased approach both organisations are taking — ensuring that every collaboration yields mutual benefit and measurable impact before scaling.

NATURE AND PURPOSE OF COLLABORATION

The MOU establishes a framework for collaboration. The Parties agree to explore joint initiatives aimed at — in no particular order:
  • Facilitating access to reliable financial services for the Nigerian diaspora through Keystone Bank.
  • Leveraging NABHI’s network and reputation for community engagement to foster financial inclusion among Nigerians abroad.
  • Creating structured opportunities for Keystone Bank to present its products directly to the diaspora community through NABHI’s global chapters.
For Nigerians in the diaspora, the path to banking, remittance, and wealth-building services while remaining globally connected has historically been fragmented. This partnership represents a targeted effort to streamline those services — offering diaspora professionals, healthcare workers, traders, and students a trusted banking partner that understands their unique cross-border needs.

The Signing Ceremony

The ceremony brought together key stakeholders from both organisations and the broader Nigerian healthcare diaspora community. In no particular order, those present at the signing included:
1. Pastor Peters Omoragbon — Executive President, Nurses Across the Borders The visionary leader who has positioned NABHI as a bridge between Nigerian healthcare professionals abroad and domestic development initiatives.
2. Mrs Joan Enukorah — Group Head, Private Bank & Corporate Bank Representing Keystone Bank’s commitment to serving high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients across the diaspora.
3. Mr. Oladipo Olaniyan — Sector Head, Diaspora Banking & Corporate Banking The banker who will drive the operationalisation of diaspora-focused financial products through NABHI’s networks.
The signing was conducted in a spirit of mutual respect and shared vision, reflecting both organisations’ commitment to serving Nigerians wherever they call home.

🔑 Why This Matters: With over 15 million Nigerians abroad sending approximately $18 billion in remittances annually, this partnership positions NABHI’s 300,000+ healthcare professionals as trusted ambassadors for accessible, transparent financial services that span continents.
